Dr. Schwartz obtained his Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Manitoba in 1987. At that point, he lectured at both the University of Manitoba and University of Winnipeg while completing clinical hours to become a Registered Psychologist with the Psychological Association of Manitoba.
He has been in private practice as a registered psychologist since 1998. His focus is primarily psychodynamic - insight oriented therapy. However, he is eclectic in his approach to suit individual client needs.
Dr. Schwartz has over 25 years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in areas including (but not limited to):
